IRVINE, Calif., March 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Burnham Benefits Insurance Services – a highly respected and growing industry leader in the California employee benefits brokerage space – announced today that Emily Ferrante joins the Los Angeles team as a consultant.

Ferrante brings nearly eight years of expertise from Willis Towers Watson, where she utilized her benefits analyst experience to excel in her health and benefits consultant role. She worked alongside senior management to develop strategic pathways that support the varying needs of large national accounts.
Ferrante appreciates the dynamic nature of the quickly changing industry. According to Ferrante: “Burnham is well known in the industry. But what I really respect about Burnham is that it's cognizant of the day-to-day challenges of our clients and balancing that with some of the broader strategic elements that every client needs to focus on. It's not just thinking about the 10,000-foot level, ‘What will tomorrow look like?’ You can’t know what tomorrow looks like until you see what today’s problems are—and Burnham tackles both.” Burnham’s investments in benefits specialists, ranging from voluntary and pharmacy benefits to data analytics and technology integration, provide Ferrante with a unique platform to nimbly support the growth of Burnham’s large national accounts strategically.
Burnham President and CEO Kristen Allison said: “Emily is a strategic hire. Coupled with her large national accounts and benefits analyst experience is the fact that she very clearly understands the shift within organizations. Employee benefits have become a more significant factor in decisions beyond the realm of HR. Emily recognizes how impactful benefit plans and programs can be because they touch each employee.”
Ferrante embodies Burnham’s culture of progress and collaboration: "A women-led firm is such an inspiration and if I can even play just a small part in building up other women like myself—what a privilege that would be,” Ferrante said.
