Faulkner brings to AFS more than 18 years of experience in the delivery of advanced technology and cybersecurity solutions to public sector and commercial customers. Through his career he has tackled critical cybersecurity challenges in digital identity, cyber defense, application security and managed security services.

“With the cyber threat landscape getting more sophisticated, Aaron’s experience in applying automation, cloud, and AI, to defend systems at the speed of cyber, can help our clients reach the next generation of cyber capabilities,” said John Goodman, chief executive of Accenture Federal Services. His long standing reputation for cyber expertise will enable the agencies that we serve to stay ready and responsive to changing mission demands and more resilient in the face of persistent threats.”

Prior to joining AFS, Faulkner served as vice president of cybersecurity and the lead executive responsible for growth and delivery of cybersecurity solutions at ECS, a science, engineering, cybersecurity and advanced technology solution provider. He also served as chief strategy officer and vice president for business development at InfoReliance, which ECS acquired in 2017.

“I’m excited to join the Accenture Federal Services team, as throughout my career I’ve learned the value of bringing people and technology together to solve the government’s toughest cybersecurity challenges,” Faulkner said. “I look forward to helping AFS’ clients take advantage of new technologies and cyber services that will secure their systems, networks and IT infrastructure.”

The AFS Federal Cyber practice has a diverse group of cyber experts, including the cyber community of Defense Point Security (acquired in 2016) and the Endgame Federal Government Services group (acquired in 2017). It brings together interdisciplinary teams of advanced cyber experts and the latest technologies to deliver end-to-end services, including cyber strategy and risk, cyber defense, applied cybersecurity, managed security, and adversary research and reconnaissance.

Serving defense and civilian clients with wide-ranging missions, AFS’ Federal Cyber practice recently announced work with the U.S Department of Energy to support cybersecurity services under the CIO Business Operations Support Services (CBOSS) contract. In April, 2019, AFS expanded its Federal Cyber Center in San Antonio, which offers cybersecurity capabilities as-a-service to help government agencies identify and eliminate cyber threats.
