Eaton Vance Municipal Bond Fund Announces Final Results Of Tender Offer

BOSTON, May 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE American: EIM) (the "Fund") announced today the final results of its tender offer for up to 10% or 8,969,613 of its outstanding common shares of beneficial interest.

As previously announced, the tender offer expired at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time on May 17, 2019.  In accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender offer, because the number of shares tendered exceeds the number of shares offered to purchase, the Fund will purchase shares from tendering shareholders on a pro-rata basis (disregarding fractional shares). Following the purchase of the tendered shares, the Fund will have approximately 80,726,520 shares of common stock outstanding.  The final results of the tender offer, based on a count by American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC, the depositary for the tender offer, are provided in the table below:
