During April 2018, domestic traffic increased in ten airports, with the largest increases in:

  • Culiacán (+19.3%; +30,969), OMA’s second largest airport with 12% of domestic traffic, increased as a result of additional traffic on the Guadalajara and Tijuana routes.

  • Ciudad Juárez (+18.8%; +16,861) had increases on its Culiacán and Guadalajara routes.

International traffic grew in seven airports in April, with the largest increase in Monterrey (+3.5%; +3,599 passengers), as a result of increases in the number of passengers on the Detroit route.

Of total passenger traffic, 98.7% was commercial, and 1.3% was general aviation.
