Recent bulwiengesa study confirms that Consus is the leading real estate developer in Germany's top nine cities

Berlin, 21 March 2019 - CONSUS Real Estate AG ("Consus", ISIN DE000A2DA414, CC1) is the leading real estate developer in Germany 's top nine cities, according to a recent report of the European research house bulwiengesa. As of September 2018, Consus holds an overall real estate development portfolio with a GDV of EUR 9.7bn, comprising 2.2 million m² of which over 90% are located in and around the top 9 German cities. The bulwiengesa study looked out to 2023 and incorporated only 1.4 million m² of the Consus portfolio. Large projects dating beyond 2023 such as Hamburg Holstein and Stuttgart Vaihingen were only partially considered. The bulwiengesa study covered Consus' projects in Germany's top nine cities with significant volumes in Hamburg, Leipzig, Berlin and Cologne, followed by Stuttgart, Dresden, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt/Main as well as Munich.

Consus operates a fully integrated development platform through its subsidiaries CG Gruppe AG and SSN Group AG covering the entire value chain. The most important components of the value chain are the sourcing and acquisition of land plots and real estate properties, their development and the sale of development projects to institutional purchasers through forward sales. Approximately 80% of Consus' GDV are planned to be or are already forward sold. The strategic objective of Consus is to develop residential projects, which currently account for over 60% of the development portfolio. Consus typically develops integrated residential and commercial projects (Quartiere), thereby focussing on the development of modern, urban and affordable residential real estate properties that are supplemented by commercial spaces, including retail, hotels and offices.
