WellCare Donates $100,000 to Support Those Impacted by Hurricanes Florence and Michael

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) today announced the WellCare Community Foundation donated $100,000 to support those feeling the devastating impacts of Hurricanes Florence and Michael in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.

The foundation provided $50,000 to Volunteer Florida to support relief efforts for Hurricane Michael and $15,000 to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, $15,000 to the One South Carolina Fund and $20,000 to the Robeson County Disaster Relief Fund to support relief efforts for Hurricane Florence.
