Chinese trade slumped in December as both exports and imports fell unexpectedly to their worst level since 2016.
China's exports declined 4.4% YoY (vs +2.0% expected) and imports dropped 7.6% YoY (vs +4.5% expected).
Thoses figures hurt AUD which is tightly linked to China.
