EUR/USD Chart
It has been a fairly quiet day for the EUR/USD pair as it remained virtually changed. The price ended Monday’s session near its opening level and is losing some of the previous day’s gains. The single currency jumped above the 1.1285 – 1.1300 strong support area against the U.S. dollar and struggled above it while it failed to approach again the 1.1445 resistance barrier, a 14-month high.
If the pair continues the recent bearish momentum, it will hit the mentioned area. However, if the price jumps above 1.1445 will move towards the 1.1500 psychological barrier. On a daily basis, the technical indicators seem to be neutral in the positive territory. The RSI indicator is flattening between the 50 and 70 level whilst the MACD oscillator lies below its trigger line with some weak momentum.
