NZD/USD Chart

The NZD/USD pair extended its gains with aggressive mode after the rebound on the 0.6780 support level, 18-month low. The kiwi completed a green week against the greenback and soared almost 1%. Since yesterday, the commodity currency pair exposed above the 0.6900 psychological level and is approaching the 50-day SMA, near 0.6960 price level, below a significant resistance barrier. Despite that bullish signals, the 100-day SMA recorded a bearish crossover with the 200-SMA couple of sessions before.Remaining on the short-term timeframe, the technical indicators are confirming the recent upward movement as both are rising. The RSI indicator jumped into the positive territory with strong momentum and is pointing to the upside, whilst the MACD oscillator is moving higher, above the trigger line in the negative zone.
