With a market capitalization of about € 1.9 billion as of June 14, 2017, Banca IFIS is currently the largest independent operator in the specialty finance market in Italy and is active in the areas of commercial credit, acquisition / disposal & management of non-performing loans and tax credits. Moreover, following the acquisition of the former GE Capital Interbanca Group, completed in November 2016, Banca IFIS further diversified its business model, thus significantly increasing its customer base (i.e. small and medium-sized Italian companies), as well as widening its products and services offerings thanks to the solid leasing know-how and the mid-term financing solutions developed by the former GE Capital Interbanca Group.
