RIB Software SE (RIB) signs a Phase-II-contract (No. 27 / 2020) with DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH

Stuttgart, Germany, 10 September 2020. RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of iTWO 5D BIM Big Data technology for the construction industry, today announced the conclusion of a Phase-II-contract with DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH

DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG and has united all the companies of the DB Group that provide construction services for railroad infrastructure in Germany and Europe since 2010. The "24-hour full-service provider" is responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of infrastructure facilities, especially railroad infrastructure. This includes the provision of rail transport services as well as all activities that ensure the availability of the railroad infrastructure in Germany and Europe. With approximately 3,100 employees and 400 maintenance vehicles, the DB Bahnbau Gruppe operates at around 40 locations throughout Germany.

We have expanded our existing iTWO contingent, so that by the end of the year 500 employees, represented in all service units, will calculate and control their construction projects uniformly and in a single application. The goal with iTWO is to map all processes of the DB Bahnbau Gruppe consistently and across all project phases.
