Hamburg, Germany, December 14 2017 - Kaiserwetter Energy Asset Management GmbH, an independent service provider for managing wind and solar parks, has added an internationally experienced banker and manager to its leadership team. Lars Hülsmann joined the company as Global Head of Business Development in December. "I'm excited that Lars Hülsmann has come aboard as a member of the Kaiserwetter team", says Kaiserwetter CEO Hanno Schoklitsch. "His know-how at the intersection of renewable energies and the financial sector as well as his management experience will provide our company with vital impulses for its future development."

Hülsmann who holds an MBA degree started his career at Hypovereinsbank's unit for business customers before switching to the company's investment banking arm. He subsequently held management positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank in London as well as at several other banks including Bahrain's Unicorn Investment Bank before becoming an independent consultant focusing on the energy sector. "With its ARISTOTELES portfolio management platform, Kaiserwetter has a product that can provide significant impulses for the global renewable energies market," Hülsmann points out. "I'm looking forward to leveraging my experience and my network to support Kaiserwetter's international team." Hülsmann says he is impressed by the digital platform's quality and high performance level: "With ARISTOTELES, Kaiserwetter has built a foundation that enables both local and internationally active companies to invest in the renewable energy sector in a way that optimizes risks and returns - a truly unique proposition in this segment." CEO Hanno Schoklitsch adds that ARISTOTELES makes it possible for investors to use a single digital solution to minimize the technical and financial risks to their assets while maximizing their revenues.

Kaiserwetter now SAP's worldwide OEM partner

Schoklitsch expects further positiv impulses for Kaiserwetter's future growth from the close cooperation with global market leader SAP that was initiated in the fall of this year: "I'm thrilled that SAP believes in Kaiserwetter's excellent performance in the Internet of Things and Smart Data Analytics areas. This know-how opened the door for our collaboration in OEM." SAP is Kaiserwetter's global technology partner for the worldwide ARISTOTELES roll-out. By integrating the Internet of Things, Smart Data Analytics and Predictive Data Simulation, this process will set new standards in the management of renewable energies portfolios. "The path to the digital future is clear to us", Schoklitsch explains. "In ARISTOTELES we have developed a cloud-based platform that enables our customers to rapidly carry out their own digital transformation - you can go from 0 to 100 in the digital world in just a few weeks with Kaiserwetter!"
