Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA: Dräger will expand capacity for mask production and will set up production in the United Kingdom to deliver respiratory masks to British government

In connection with the COVID 19 pandemic, Dräger has received an order from the British government to deliver respiratory masks (FFP3). The delivery of the order will start in 2020 and will stretch until end of 2021. The expected net sales are roughly one hundred million Euro. For this purpose Dräger will set up a mask production in the United Kingdom. This is in addition to the existing production network in Sweden and South Africa and the previously decided new production sites in France and the United States. The investment into the expansion across all five production sites in 2020 will be in the amount of a mid-double digit million Euro figure.
