Timbercreek Financial Announces Closing of $14.3 Million Private Placement

TORONTO, Oct. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Timbercreek Financial (TSX: TF) (“Timbercreek Financial” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce the closing of its previously announced private placement offering (the “Offering”) pursuant to which the Corporation raised aggregate gross proceeds of $14,395,471.82 through the issuance of 1,561,331 common shares (the “Shares”) at a price of $9.22 per Share.
The Corporation paid aggregate commission of $458,258.29 to certain registered dealers in connection with the completion of the Offering.
The Corporation will use the net proceeds of the Offering to repay amounts owing under its secured revolving credit facility, and will subsequently draw on the credit facility for purposes of funding new investments in accordance with the strategies, investment objectives and investment guidelines of the Corporation.
These securities have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and will not be offered or sold within the United States or to U.S. persons. The securities issued by Timbercreek Financial in connection with the Offering are subject to a four month plus one day hold period as prescribed by the Toronto Stock Exchange and applicable securities laws.
