Vilnius, Sept. 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Medicinos Bankas UAB (hereinafter – “the Bank”), registration number 112027077, registered seat address: Pamėnkalnio 40, Vilnius, Lithuania announces that the owner of Medicinos bankas together with a team of advisors has started investigating strategic opportunities which could ensure the long-term development of the bank. One of the options available is a potential sale of shares to a strategic or financial investor.

The bank announces that this will have no impact on the Bank's activities, which remain sustainable and stable.

List of participants/shareholders of the bank as on 1 June 2019: Konstantinas Karosas (89.91 per cent), Western Petroleum Ltd. (9.87 per cent), Vytenis Rasutis (0.22 per cent).
