Thinfilm Begins Complete Processing of EAS Tags on its Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing Line

Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") today announced that it has started fully processing EAS (electronic article surveillance) anti-theft tags on its roll-to-roll manufacturing line at the Company's Junction Avenue facility in San Jose, California. All EAS-related equipment has been installed and is fully operational, and each material layer required in the processing of EAS tags is being applied using roll-based technology.
Thinfilm has also submitted the protocol associated with its PDPS (printed dopant polysilicon) wireless tags for standardization.
