Founded in 1988 by Bruno Rousset, the group's current Chairman, APRIL is an international insurance services group operating in 31 countries. The group can boast a one-of-a kind involvement in the whole of the insurance value chain as it designs, manages and distributes insurance solutions and assistance services for private individuals, professionals and businesses, covering life and health insurance, property and casualty insurance, mobility as well as legal protection/services. Today the group is the only wholesale broker with its own risk-bearing body (four insurance companies and one reinsurance company) and one of the only wholesale brokers with its own distribution network (the APRIL Mon Assurance agencies).
