Definition SuperTrend
SuperTrend is an indicator that works on all timescales (intraday or EOD ) and all instruments (stocks, futures, forex, ...). It is the ideal tool to follow market trends and optimises your profits.
SuperTrend evolves below or above the prices depending on the trend. You can use it as an exit position indicator when its direction changes. You can also use it to place your stops.
However, it is generally better to take buying opportunities when the SuperTrend is below the prices and sell short when it is above the prices.
